I painted this business/antique shop in 1993 in Havre de Grace, Maryland, in hopes the proprietor might purchase it. For some reason he never did. I later learned his wife was also an artist...perhaps this had something to do with his refusal to purchase (?). This image is based on a laser print copy of the original which is not presently available.

I have been interested in art ever since I was six years old in my native rural Kansas. I always knew what I wanted to be in life...and that was to be an artist. I am an eclectic artist, always experimenting in the creation of my art and subject matter. I love exploring all kinds of subject matter from the vast “banquet table of life.” One comes this way only once, so I love to reach out and grab any and everything that grabs my fancy at any given moment to explore creatively. Thank you, again, Gordon...really appreciate your comments. Yes, there were all kinds of inspiring scenes there for impressionable artists. We used to get up to Pennsylvania a lot too...especially to areas around Lancaster. We really loved PA. and Pennsylvanians (they were uncommonly friendly and welcoming). Amish country was a special treat.
