Product Details

Our greeting cards are 5" x 7" in size and are produced on digital offset printers using 100 lb. paper stock. Each card is coated with a UV protectant on the outside surface which produces a semi-gloss finish. The inside of each card has a matte white finish and can be customized with your own message up to 500 characters in length. Each card comes with a white envelope for mailing or gift giving.

Artist's Description

I have endeavored to capture the timeless spirit of one of my Mexican folk heroes, Emiliano Zapata, who fought for the freedom and land ownership in behalf of the poor campesinos and Indians of his native Morelos state. He was assassinated in a deception and considered dead and gone forever by the unscrupulous powers-that-be at the time...no longer a 'trouble-maker.' However, his followers continued and continue to believe...that he lives on...if not in body, at least in spirit. He was more than a person...he was an ideal in the hearts and minds of many of his freedom loving devotees. Emiliano, in many respects, became immortal (or inmortal in Spanish).

I am an eclectic artist, always experimenting in the creation of my art and subject matter. I love exploring all kinds of subject matter from the vast “banquet table of life.” One comes this way only once, so I love to reach out and grab any and everything that grabs my fancy at any given moment to explore creatively. The closest I come to concentrating on any single subject is about my love of the Mexican people and culture, especially after being married to a lovely and inspiring Californian of Mexican descent for many years now.
